Is there a possibility to schedule to automate change of online / offline mode? I want my chat window to go online / offline automatically at the setup time. Is it available in Live Chat?
Our Live Chat supports the feature of scheduling particular time and date for chatbox to be online/offline on the website. This scheduler time feature is available in Live Chat PRO plugin version.
In order to schedule your working hours, login into admin area at www.wp-chat.com and click on Scheduler tab. There will appear a empty scheduler form. Until there is no events, the chatbox will not go online/offline automatically.
There are 3 types of the chat scheduler. You can create an event for:
1) Everyday to schedule the chat for all days.
*** Click on any empty day.
*** In opened scheduler settings select the website(s).
*** Tick operator(s) who you want to be available for chat at the scheduled time.
*** Choose Everyday Type.
*** Setup the time period from… till… the chat window should be online on your website.
*** Click on Save.
Using this type the chat window will be scheduled for all days of the week and month.
2) Date to schedule the chat for particular day. For each single day you can setup different time.
*** Click on any empty day.
*** In opened scheduler settings select the website(s).
*** Tick operator(s) who you want to be available for chat at the scheduled time.
*** Choose Date Type and type or choose necessary day in calendar.
*** Setup the time period from… till… you want the chat window to be online on your website.
*** Click on Save.
Using this type the chat window will be scheduled for one day that you choose. It is possible to do it for all days and for each day setup different online time.
3) Day of the week to schedule the chatbox for separate days of the week. In this way, the chatbox will be online at one and the same time on specified days.
*** Click on any empty day.
*** In opened scheduler settings select the website(s).
*** Tick operator(s) who you want to be available for chat at the scheduled time.
*** Choose Day of the week Type and type or choose necessary day in calendar.
*** Setup the time period from… till… the chat window should be online on your website.
*** Click on Save.
Using this type the chat window will be scheduled for one and the same time on every chosen day.
